A Vibrant Adams Morgan Engagement Shoot: The Green Zone + Neighborhood Stroll

Adams Morgan is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Washington, D.C., being one of the first places I became familiar with when I moved down to the area in the Spring of 2021. When Eric and JJ reached out in late 2024 wanting an engagement that brings them to The Green Zone, where they had their first date, I had to say yes!

As we walked throughout the heart of Adams Morgan on a warm Sunday morning, Eric & JJ pointed out several places, where we took some candid photos and talked about their favorite bus line – the L2, which kept them connected throughout their relationship. We ended at Duccini’s – some of the best pizza in DC! – where we snapped a couple photos right outside!

Engagement sessions don’t need to be at a studio under a set of bright, hot lights – they can be as simple as a casual stroll across one of the most vibrant communities in D.C.!
