As a wedding photographer, there is no greater joy than a couple coming to me with a vision – and entrusting me to execute it! When Jasmine & Aaron reached out in early 2024 with an idea to do an engagement shoot at Tonari – a Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant in Chinatown – I jumped on the opportunity to make it happen!
First off, a HUGE thanks to the staff at Tonari for bearing with me and my team on a bright weekend morning as we got in and quickly worked to set the stage for some amazing shots! Since these photos were intended to be used for save-the-date invitations, Jasmine & Aaron cleverly brought a menu with their wedding date written in marker, adding an amazing touch to the great photos we took at the bar!
Over the next two hours, I worked with Jasmine and Aaron to capture some high-glam, fun, and upbeat engagement photos. From romantic shots at their intimate table to playful moments outside the restaurant's beautiful exterior, this session was a highlight of 2024! Tonari’s unique ambiance paired perfectly with their chic style, creating a series of photos that were both timeless and full of personality.
